Yes.
JZA80 93+ 4 pot fronts/2 pot rears are the best the Supra had to offer.

Celsior 4 pots as alternative. Read thread in brakes section for more info.

I don't know Allan.

I have come across cars with them both ways. I fitted the RHD rotor to the drivers side.

I have Supra brakes (jza80) all round and can't emphasise enough as to how good they are. I have had a lot of people tell me how good they are and a couple of race car drivers tell me that they are really good as a bolt on up grade.

The 6 x6 wiper slot is great design and works to prevent brake fade and uneven pad wear. I have had a set on mine for 9 months and they work tremendously well for the streets.

I have tested them on a v8 Super car experience on Queensland raceway and I thought they were fantastic.

You know there is always the 5000 series 2 piece rotors for supra big brake upgrade boys.

1K for front and rear set of supra brakes is a bargain ... I will buy a set at that price simply to resell it!

1K for used front calipers ONLY with rotors/fittings and pads would be quite realistic I think.

Brand new parts shipped to my door from Rutherford and Bond Toyota (NZ) was about $2000 total for front and rear. I have no idea why people pay upwards of $600 for 10 year old second hand calipers and rotors. Laziness I guess. A proper recondition/service to bring them upto new would have to cost somewhere in the region of $400. (I'm only guessing)

By the way the braking is spectacular. I was outbraking much more fancied Mitsubishi Evos at my last Oran Park outing in the porky Soarer.

Christian, the ls400's require as close enough to the same amount of clearance as the supra 4 pots so you will either need the spacers or new rims to clear. I am running 18/8.5 +35 with brembo clearance on the front and 18/9.5 +35 rear, brand is G Max, they have a good range with the brembo clearance, only down side is the 35 offset but I have no problems at all with tramlining

Nik, I have the same offset front and back as you, it may just be the design of your spokes and how they meet in the centre, mmm.

It's a caliper, pad, rotor and possibly line swap. All pretty straight forward items to swap at home.

Hardest part is cutting off the old stone guards.

You got that right.... Grinder was very useful.

Christian the rear supra calipers don't stick out that much to the factory ones as my old 17 inch wheels still fit on the rear but not the front as I don't have enough clearance but I now have some 18 inch wheels so I am not worried.

Thanks guys. Dosn't sound that complicated, specially if I gave the car to a mechanic to fit. I'm not concerned about wheels, I have Supra 17's.

Just for someone like myself who isn't a competent mechanic, wondering how hard it would be to install Supra/Celsior four pots?

You and a mate who has a bit of experience could do it in your garage.

I'm sure there is a tut on here somewhere, or you could just follow the workshop manual (Jeff Harper's Soarer bible)

I am sure you have a few mates that can help you!!
