Got the dreaded brake fluid low alarm yesterday - see picture.

On inspection the level was ok so pulled the sensor- see picture

You can see a level of fluid in the tube that has probably bridged the magnetic switch.

The tube is a bayonet fit into the cap with an o-ring seal so a quick twist it comes apart and the fluid can be drained out and the inner bits given a gentle clean

Re-assembled and replaced and all's ok.

I got that alarm early last year. Topped up my fluid and all was well.

Since then, have new four piston brakes and bled the fluid. Seems to be going okay!
