pretty sure you install the solenoid inline with your rear brakes so when you push the button it stops any brake fluid going to the rear brakes so when you put your foot flat on the brake pedal only the front jam on so you can burn rubber without burning out your rear brakes

I figured if you installed it neatly on a fairly hidden part of the line and have it looking as it were a factory 'pressure sensor for the abs' surly you would get too much grief from the boys in blue?

Not if they install solid diff and subframe bushings.... I wonder where someone might get hold of such a thing

And line lockers prevent cooking your rear rotors.

This would actually be my preferred way of doing it, but the default method for a line locker is to hold the pressure in the fronts with your foot off the brake.

Theres up and down sides, you have no control of the brakes this way (they are either on or off) but it means its easier to do the burnout with a manual as you dont have to left foot brake.

the easiest way of doing it is to mount it after the abs unit on the rear brakes but plumb it up backwards so it stops fluid from getting to the rear if you plumb it the way that the instructions say fluid will bypass the valve and lock the rear brakes on
I put one in my car 2 years ago and it still works like a dream
