I am currently using ferrodo gp2 brake pads for the front brakes, and i find that they are really noisy and produce a large amount of dust, my front mags are always covered in brake dust and i have to clean them every couple of days. The pads on the rear are protex and they seem to work fine and produce little dust. Is there any pads anyone can recommend for the front brakes that will produce little dust? and not be too noisy? Thanx

OEM. Toyota.
Depends how much stoppage you want though.

Yup. OEM brake pads do the job and they don't build much brake dust compared to aftermarket.

The Grex pads I have now stop a lot better than the TRD ones I was using before and produce a hell of a lot less dust. Could be worth a try if you don't want to go back to stockos.

EBC Greenstuff pads (if you don't mind the price) are pretty good, not as good as they claim, but fairly low dust none the less.

Be careful if you have DBA discs. There have been some issues in the past with incompatibility. Have a look on Planet Soarer in the braking section for more info.

Try using some wax on your mags to stop the brake dust from sticking to them, does work quite well.
