Hey just did the TT brake swap for the V8 Soarer (front and back). After a bit of reading decided to bend the dust covers back. There is one section where the ball joint is where you can't really bend it. Do you have to cut it here or will bed in that small section or what? Also just wondering if the hand brake needs to be readjusted on the rears it seems like something is sticking a little bit. Also peddle travel has increased. From what I was reading most people have been saying the brakes feel firmer going to the TT setup. Thanks guys.

you must bleed the brakes properly if the pedal travel has increased. you can just bend it round the ball joint, should be plenty of clearance

Should be fine, no one that has replaced their brakes with soarer tt 296mm, celsior 315mm, supra tt 324mm has mentioned that they had a problem?

JZA70 is 60 mm centre bores.
JZA80 is 62 mm centre bores.

The Thicknesses on the DBA site are wrong. I work for DBA and have asked the media coordinator to fix these up to avoid confusion.

30-series Soarer, 80-series Supra, 147/16x Aristo/GS, UCF1x/2x Celsior/LS, IS200/300 are all 60.1 centre bore.

Others may be the same but I don't know for certain.

I assume the .1 is for clearance. :-)

I know this is really old, but just to confirm, the REAR at least on the JZZ31 centre bore is 62mm. The hub centre itself is 60mm, but it flares out to 62mm at the base, so if you get a rotor with a 60.1mm centre hole, it won't sit flush against the hub.
