I noticed that whenever i brake gradually theres a "tak- tak- tak- tak" sound and i can somehow feel it. However, whenever it comes to require me to brake harder, the sound doesn't surface.

Anyone with this kind of experience?
Some people tell me that its normal and that my brake pads just requires replacing.

Would near to worn out pads cause this problem? My mechanic did mention that i would need a change of brake pads on my next servicing.

The pad holders have a tag on them that hits the disc surface when the pad has worn down and needs replacing. This may ne your problem.

yeah, probably, its been more than a year since I have since had my brake pads changed, and i do, do some hard braking at times and accidentally spin outs. Alright will do guys, thats all i needed to know as i couldn't find any other possible issues.
Cheers people!

would warped rotors cause a noise like that due to an un even braking surface?? either way i'd start with replacing the pads (seeing as the need to be) and going from there.
