Hi everyone,
My beloved soarer was hit (Minute of silence)
Anyway, it was hit above the back passenger side wheel and the damage looks to be just in the panel. Today, I drove it for the second time since the bang (Yesterday I drove it all day long) and it drove just fine with no problems. About half an hour after beginning the drive, the "Brake System" warning came up on the dash. It stayed on for about 30 minutes until I turned the car off and back on and it disappeared and hasn't come back on since. The actual brakes worked fine while I drove it.
I was wondering why this would have happened? My car is a 97 model in excellent condition and has never had any electrical problems or faults.
I looked up a few threads that suggested brake fluid but I've had low brake fluid before and it it gives the "Brake fluid" warning.
Could it be something to do with the hit? If not, what else could it be?

Nope, definitely wasn't that...i drove it again for an hour or so and nothing came up. I haven't checked the fluid yet but like I said, wouldn't the "brake fluid" warning come up instead if it was the fluid?
