Does anyone have an idea as to how much weight difference there is between two otherwise similar cars, one with ABS , the other without?

Blake, As far as I can tell (I have one of each) the main difference weight wise is the actual ABS unit behind the passenger shock tower, and the ABS computer on the floor. There is also the associated wiring to the speed sensors on each hub.

I would guess 2-3kg for the wiring and computer. Have not had the ABS unit out of the car to weight it, but I plan to get rid of the ABS from the track car when I find a non ABS wreck I can pilfer all the hard lines from.

The ABS models have a slightly different master cylinder, but as far as I can tell it is simply the last port would need to be drilled and tapped so you have a circuit for each front wheel like the non ABS model.
