Ok, I've tried the diagnostics on the braking issue (ABS warning after startup if ya'll didn't know) and have found this... I DIDN'T EVEN GET AN ERROR CODE!!! All it said was ABS and TRC NG (not good I assume?), O/D and A/D OK. Now I can understand the TRC thing, I don't have it, but ABS not good, without an error code is a tad vague, don't you think? Any ideas?!? And yes, I followed the diagnostic instructions to the letter. This is SOOOO frustrating, every time I fix something, something else dies, the soarer is without a doubt the most unreliable car i have ever owned!

Ahhh, that would be why you're the soarer grasshopper and I am but the humble plebian dumb ass. No I have not, and as it is getting a tad to dark to see under the bonnet atm, it'l have to wait until tomorrow morning. Stay tuned, same soarer time, same soarer channel. Unless it could be anything else? Tried the fuse (gee that thing big hey?) couldn't get the bloody thing out! Put mulitmeter leads to the contacts underneath it though and continuity test came back all good.

You mean that I won't be the only one? Well, That's a relief... Probably should get around to testing those sensors, just spent the past day fixing up my heater hoses (1 burst, raa towed me to an 'raa approved' repairer). Turns out the clowns didn't tighten all the clamps enough!!!

Ben, as well as checking those wheel speed sensors, they need to have the right gap and alignment otherwise they may give alarms at certain speeds.
Give them a clean while you're at it although dirt doesn't usually give much trouble.

Just had a major flashback... I was playing around with (unplugin lotsa stuff) when i put my fmic in, seeing it started straight away as sson as i turned it over the first time, maybe I forgot to plug something back in?

And how do i clean/adjust the sensors? I'm assuming that they are the little doobilackies that live near 12 o'clock on the rotor with the wire comming out of them?

Ben, if you're not having any problem with the sensors don't touch.
For cleaning you could always spray them with something like contact cleaner or if pushed brakeklene but with that make sure the spray doesn't get on your paint work.
I assume they should self align but if loose or you need to replace one then the shiny metal bit should be in line with shaft and ipso facto 90 degrees to the notches.
