I know there are a couple of threads out there with regards to brake pad part numbers, but there seems to be a bit of confusion and/or misleading information as to which is the correct lot.

I've got a 95-build GT-T (twin) that needs new front brake pads, currently has EBC Greenstuffs on the front (from the previous owner, which are now just about gone and need replacing along with the DBA rotor) and has had the rear Greenstuffs replaced with Redstuffs. Depending on where I look, there appear to be several different part numbers for the front pads - I know there are differences between the TTs and the NAs (as well as the V8s), but there also seems to be differences between the YEARS of the TTs, not necessarily lining up with the facelift.

If it helps, the rear EBC Redstuffs that we used were DP31008C, I'm lead to believe that DP31007C should be the correct number for the fronts but have also seen DP3874C mentioned in a few places.

Not limiting myself to EBC, but figured it would be good to match the fronts to the rears.

Kind of hard when the car is a daily and there aren't any places that have EBC pads on the shelf...

Great, another number to add to the confusion :-)

I do remember seeing the DP31223 number somewhere though...

Ian, the suppliers have a book with the out line of the brake pad and the PN.

If you cannot confirm a PN remove a pad. trace it and cut out the shape. Present the profile and they can match it.

According to EBC the Blacks (now called Ultimax) are their OEM replacement (but a bit better), Greens are their mid-range street pad for small cars, Reds are their top-line street pad for big powerful cars (which the Snoarer is), Yellows are the street and basic track, Blues are their mid-range track and Orange the top-line track.

Reds sound like exactly what I want (and are a lot less dusty than the Greens that were on there before)

I've done a bit more looking around, the DP31223 is looking more likely to be the correct pad (comparing shape/sizes to other brands which have more definitive answers on what pad fits, like Project Mu)

Well, can confirm that the 31223Cs were the correct pad, new pads and rotors are now fitted and everything works like a charm
