Hey, i have had the rda slotted/dimpled front rotors on for a couple of months now and recently the left one has developed a loud clicking noise when driving (its annoying).

i found a another post where someone else has also said they are noisy, i put my old rotor on in place of it and the noise is gone

does the noise ever go away or do i just have to put up with it

Any chance the pads are wearing down and it's the low wear indicator clicking on the slots?

have heard that sometimes if you get a clicking noise with slotted rotors that if you swap the rotors it can sometimes go away.

i put the old rotor on there and the noise went away, so i gave the slotted rotor a clean mostly scrapped off something not sure what it was about the size of a 20c coin and put it back on and noise is gone for now, will have to see when i do some hard braking if it comes back.

** the noise is still there not as loud though, i will swap it with the other one to see if theres any difference. :-)

Grease the slide pins.
And make sure all shims and clips are installed this
Has cured the click on 3cars
The other 1 needed caliper rebuild as it wasn't returning fully and was catching pad and flicking it if that made sence
