Well the ABS/TRC is fixed once again but I don't know for how long. Hopefully forever but that's not going to happen. I'll be happy if it's long enough for me to save up the billion dollars for a new one.
What has been found in the motor part is brake fluid passing back up the shaft from the pump plus some sticky carbon brushes.
There is a rubber tube that hangs down from the motor casing that will act as a drain but the shaft seal must be past its best (too difficult to pull the rotor from the pump and replace).
I'll get a warrant asap before the alarm reappears and hope the NZ/AU exchange rate stays good.
