u probably dont have LSD....wen i had an open wheeler i could turn the wheel and put my foot down and apart from having only one tyre smoke up (the one with less weight on it) not much else would hapen, the car would just correct it self straight away...wen i put a torsen in i was up for a surprise.....had it in 2nd goin about 45km through a roundabout just as i was gettin out i flored it and nearly lost it....the ass kicked out so easily its not funny....mind u i used to sit there and smoke up both tyres with an open wheeler too so it doesnt mean sht

Dragan ill disagree with that satement purely because the open wheel diff i had was unpredictable at best.would spin one or two tyres depending on how it felt..
with the lsd you know that it will step out when pushed hard but you also know that it is controllable with steering and throttle input..
much more stable rear end with lsd..no doubt about it.
Kylie.. shift kit is the biggest contributor as you stated.. big smiles with a shift kit

So Muzzy / Dragan, If i push my car, shift from 1st - 2nd say across the lanes, pulling out of a side street into the far right lane, if it shifts and I'm not 100% straight, it'll spin one wheel and then all of a sudden the other wheel spins and I get some kind of an LSD effect.
Is this just a worn diff, or just the unpredictable stock open-wheeler?
