Hi
My back brake caliper is sticking on. Sure makes the rotor very hot. I bled the brakes and it made no difference. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be very welcome.
thanks
P.S half my new TRD pads has gone to waste. Not happy

You need to dismantle it and fit a new seal kit. Probably a job best left to the experts.

Prob best to do both rears and if you have the money do the lot. Its not all that cheap but neither are pads and disks.

Daniel, Did you fit the rotors yourself? I recently fitted new DBA rear rotors on my car and had the same problem as you on one side only.
The rotors have a rubber grommet in the surface that the wheel bolts onto and unless that grommet is lined up with a dimple in the stub axle, the rotor is not square on the stub axle and drags on the pads, making it look like seized pistons.
Cheers
John

Well its worked fine for a few months and only just started to happen. I would think that you would feel a vibration under braking if that was the case, but i will take a look anyway.
