Hey guys, just got a price on RDA slotted and dimpled (not drilled) rotors for the Supra 4 pot front brakes (323mm). I was quoted $380+GST+Freight for them, just wondering if anyone has had any experience with them.
Cant really comment on them myself, probably made in India, but if that concerns you, Brembo rotors are also made in india.... I wonder how much they'd be for standard TT rotors?

Jeff: EBC and RDA are one and the same now in Australia, so the EBC ones MIGHT be the identical manufactured item, cant say 100%. The clicking might be the anti rattle spring? (or lack of?)
Callum: $380+gst+freight unless they are in stock at a head office in your state (basically im the only asshole in darwin thats wants Supra rotors so im paying the freight. They have a head office everywhere else except here.)
Example, anyone in Melbourne can get them without freight costs because they are in stock at their Keysborough office/dist point.
Trevor: ta for that mate, I always wondered how much the differnce between the two is.
Arrives in 4 days, will let you all know how it gets on with fitment, and wether they stop or not!!

I spoke to a few people before buying the RDA disks, most people (shop owners) said that DBAs are better, but not by all that much. For the extra cost they are not worth it, and that you are paying for the name. Only the idiot shop owners (whats a soarer??) were telling me that I should buy the DBAs. I have had no problem with them so far. Been on the car for 8000ks.

Actually, I'll have to ask a bloke up here, he's fitted em to a series VI RX7, with gt3540r, v-mount setup, and used only on the track. I remember he fitted em with some race pads maybe 4-5 months ago.

Well, the RDA's on the rotisserie with the 3540r have done a few lap sprints and drift meets so far. Nothing to really say wether they are reliable or not, but an indication that they are not overwhelmed by circuit racing conditions. This about 4 months from the day of installation, the car has only done 1000kms of street work in that time, however. 4x 3 lap sprints, 4x2lap drifts, and maybe 10 laps of warmups overall. They were bedded in on a drive to Adelaide river and back (170kms round trip, no speed limits!!) plenty of bends and surface changes in that one too.

Check out this site if you haven't already, they have Endless rotors, you will have to email them if they have rotors to replace standard TT but I know they have the Supra 4 pot rotors.
