Shane, Lucas recommend getting a lot of street kilometres on the pads before a track day, so might be an idea to go for a few drives this week if you ca,

I think Juzza just chucked them in from new while at the track however, possibly he might be able to confirm that.

Either way, be prepared to use 2 feet if they get really hot, but they will keep stopping :-)

For interests sake, can you list where you bought them and for how much? The information might be useful to other WA members.

perth brake parts - i paid about 130 bucks for the full set, but that was after a perth performance car club discount (one of the guys who works there is a member), so maybe add about 20 bucks, call it 150. ordered in overnight.

they can also get the ferodo ds2500's, if given enough time (ie less than 2 days). i think it was gonna be closer to 250 a set for them.

yeah, i will be giving them a decent bedding-in session tonite/tomorrow.

peter - yep, full set = front + rears.

discount prices were something like $63 fronts, $54 rears, + gst.
