Removing the Dash
Pictures and explanation heavily plagiarised from Planet Soarer.

Important: If you have a UZZ31 or UZZ32 with auto-retract steering wheel, make sure the wheel is in the retracted position, take the keys out and don't put the keys back in until the job is complete. Otherwise the wheel may try to move and do some damage.
Also, if you have an air bag, trying to start the car with the dash out will cause an error that is a pain to get rid of.

Turn the wheel to the right then remove the screw. On mechanical wheels, then turn left to remove one on the other side.

Remove the 2 screws beneath the steering column cover.

Remove the bottom cover ONLY. They are tricky to pop apart, you need to squeeze the casing in just behind the indicator stalk to unhook the plastic loop.

Remove the ring around the ignition, it just pulls out easily.

Loosen but don't remove the two bolts under the steering column. 1st pic is the electric column.

This is the mechanical column.

Now you can remove the top cover from the column.

Remove the plack cover panel along the bottom of the dash. It can be tight and is held in by 4 clips.

Undo the blue plug on the left and the white plug on the right. Then remove the 2 screws at the bottom that hold the dash in.

Prise out the flush covers then remove the top 2 screws.

The dash should now come out with a bit of wiggling. Undo the orange plug first by pressing the tab on top of the plug.
Upload

Undo the plugs on the other side, the white plugs are a bit harder, the tab to press is on the bottom of the plug.
Upload

All done!

Re-fitting is the reverse of this procedure.
