I'm pretty sure sandwich/jaffle toaster was the original intention for this piece, the wheel chock aspect is just a nifty side benefit.

Make sure you remove the jaffle before using it to hold up the car.

Or alternatively, make sure its not holding up the car before using it a jaffle maker.

Maybe this is why you have 2?

Two? I got only one. Still, if I cook the jaffle a bit longer I can use that on the other side.

WHAT, prey tell....is a Jaffle?, is it like what we in Baa Baa land call a Waffle?.

OR, as I suspect, a load of colonialised "Bull-pucky" .

We have the old single jaffle iron which you put on the stove (4th pic down in the left column). The "real" ones my parents had were round rather than pandering to modern square bread, and for entertainment we would cook with them by sticking the end in a fire, which is for what they were originally designed. Much better than a toasted sandwich because the contents get hotter and nothing drips or falls out while eating.

Go on Don, buy one. You know you are wanting it.

Actually, a jaffle is different to a toasted sandwich, because the jaffle iron squashes the edges of the bread together, sealing them (hopefully!). So the end product is akin to a pie. Modern electric "snack makers" are similar except they're electric, not designed to put in the fire
