hey guys and girls, put 18" deepies on the soarer and after the car was pulling to the left quite badly i took it into a shop to get a wheel alignment and that showed up that there is some play in the steering wheel, meaning that the wheel can be gently moved from side to side and the wheels on the ground do not react at all, has anyone had this problem or can anyone help me out with what i can do to fix this, its cruise season and i'd love to have my responsive steering back again
thanks
azza.

Would steering rack bushes also be responsible for a sort of clunking steering wheel over angle bumps and slopes? as the steering wheel in my celsior tends to make soft popping sounds further down in the steering column by the sounds of it. Its rather annoying.

Could be - that or worn knuckles - though that usually also leads to vague steering and lack of response. Could also be ball joints etc.
