ive tried that but all the wires must be going to the amp 1st then back to the speakers cos the colour and thickness are diff.....its a stock sub so i dont c y not??? donno

You won't find speaker wires up front unless you had the el-cheapo pov pack stereo with no CD and built -in amps. From left to right the 3 wehite plugs in your pic are; 1. Power, ACC and earth for headunit. Mute, trigger and line outputs to main 4 chann amp. 2. Stacker. control and output from stacker. (digital so you can't use 'em). 3. sub amp. Mute, trigger and 2 x 180 deg phase shifted line outputs (full frequency range...the bass filter is in the sub amp) If the main 4 channel amp is under the stacker in the boot then that's where you'll find all the speaker wires on one of the two white plugs going to the amp (same applies for single CD head unit and EMV cars...same plug for all). You can get the wire colours off the diagrams on the FAQ site. http://members.westnet.com.au/web/rbaird/wiring.htm All the wiring up front will be at pre-amp (line)levels so if you have line level outputs from the new unit you can use the factory amps and wiring. The factory Sub amp requires two out-of-phase inputs which most head units don't provide so you will need a phase splitter amp to drive it from either line level or speaker level with attenuators. Fitting a proper crossover between the main door speaker and the tweeter will give the best results with a factory or aftermarket head unit/amp system.

the amp is under the CD stacker in the boot....ive decided to run new wires for all 4 speakers and leave the amp out.....however wot would be the easies way to hook the sub up?....i belive these wires are the inputs ur talking about....where do i connect them?
