Hey Guys, Just wanted some info. I was wondering, if I was to change my exhaust system from a dual exhaust to single exhaust, would I need to change anything else. My car is at this point stock TT. Are there any performance gains or losses by doing this. Thanks

rear bar might look stupid with only one pipe.
Not worth doin IMO, mainly becasue theres nothing to be gained that you couldnt do with the twin system anyway. Might save money on a second muffler but you might spend even more getting the rear bar modded to suit. Im convertting to 2JZ and T04z. Still a twin system.
mike that sounds maaaaaaad. i got a 3ltr and was thinking about an exaust, but taking the mufflers sound good. do you get drouning (if thats how you spell it) sound when crusing

Think of the weight savings! (says the guy with a single cannon) heheh It saves a lot more cash as well. I purchased the catback with muffler (jap stuff) second hand for $200 and had it fitted with a 3" front pipe for $120 at my local exhaust shop. Sounds nice and more power. Depends on your budget in the end.

Thanks Man, Im really happy with it.
Its a tad droney but not really that bad considering there are no rear mufflers! Maybe a tad on acceleration at like 2500rpm but in general im way more than happy!

NAH! I'm good. Thanks for the advice. I do kinda like the dual look but here in the Bahamas the majority of the guys out on the tracks who has soarers have single exhaust. It does look kind of weird with that open space in the back.... looks a little ricey.
