the video quality isn't great just done with the digital camera, but the noise comes through clear enough. What could it be?

thanks for your input, I'm booked in at the mechanics on Thursday, it also seems to only make this noise when the car is cold if that makes a difference.

I'm a bit of a retard when it comes to mechanics in cars would the Idler pulley bearing cause the car to idle weird if it was stuffed?

Nope, its just another pulley that keeps things moving...
