I've had my soarer for quite a while and like to think of myself a quite soarer savy. 99% of the mods and repairs I've done myself from suspension to intake even ecu BUT today was the first time I've needed to take the front bar off and dammit, my baby's bubble just burst.
Yup, the front left impact bar seems not to exist. Apart from the jagged appendage, the exterior is immaculate with no panel warp or paint mismatch. How the hell could I miss it??
The sad thing is that I'll never look at my baby the same again......

Don't worry, i'm sure it's happened to most of us.
After 5 weeks of ownership I lifted up my rear seat, to find butchered wiring and missing tv, nav and radio controllers, which explains some of my electrical issues

Are you referring to the shiny metallic thing(The "reo")?
I am assuming they are the same as common doors and are removable, why not go to a wrecker or get one off a half cut /wreck? Will give you piece of mind at least
I believe mostly you can buy them off the manufacturer also, if you were that way inclined...
And no offence but some ones written their shopping list on your car
Edit: to make you feel better I heard about a guy that had a car for two years (Nissan 180sx) and let rego slip once, whilst getting it blue slipped they discovered it had the entire front section of the chassis from the doors forward welded to the back.... ended up being unroadworthy....

when my brother car (blownminiturbo) was resprayed and vertex bodykit was installed. the smash repairer was not going to put it back on and said that in the repair notes they have for the toyota soarer's was optional to put the intrusion bar back on so we said not paying for nothing till its put on. this was after they sprayed and fitted the bodykit.
just get one from a wrecker

I agree, but its needs less panel damage and a bloody huge aluminium wing stickin 3 foot in the air first. Mind you, I do subscribe to the 'if ya got it, tell everyone' method of cruisin.
