not shure if its in the right setion,so sorry if its not

I bought the car as a completely stock car in Nov 06, but it wasn’t till July 07 that i started to change things.
This is after a bit of cleaning for a supra meet

1st dyno run with just a TRD drop in filter resulted in 196whp/220ft/lbs and she was doing 14.4-14.6 runs in santpod. Not to bad for a stock car ?
I got a set of 18x8.5 P1’s in bronze wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza RE050’s

Then i found a few bits for sale,330mm UK supra brakes allround,4pots up front and 2 pot rears, Blitz Nur spec R cat back, supra front pipe decat, greddy E-01 boost controller, Emanage Blue. Walbro pump and Automotive fuel pressure regulator kit for the 1jz.
At the same time i also ordered a set of BC coilovers and a Greddy Spec-R FMIC.it was an expensive few months.

The fist bits that went on were the BC coilover.im still impressed by them today, grand and comfy on the road but a few twists of the adjuster and she’s good for track/drag

I then ran into an issue with the rad, after 2 new replacement ones that both failed i took the plunge and ordered a Sard rad [number 23] car was off the road till that arrived.

The Nur Spec arrived soon after and with the help of a very drunk mate we put it on, was well cuffed with the sound of it.
car was now at 216whp

Then she went back up to Marty in SSI to get all the bits above fitted along with some other small bits just in time for Japfest in Mondello.
Another run on the dyno with an unmapped EMB resulted in
301.5 @ the fly
250.3 @ wheels
263 ft/lbs
I was up about 55Whp and 40ft/lbs
car was now doing 14 sec dead runs into a head wind in the pod
and and est 1.16 round the national in Mondello

I told nick id be back after Christmas to get the car maped, in the mean time i bought a set of TME Recaros

i finally got back out to nick after the new year to get her maped, the results @ 15psi were
291.2 RWHP
370.4 FT/LBS
EST 350.4 FWHP

From stock i am now up 100Whp and 150ft/lbs
the car has a bit of hesitation at low speed/launch due to the FMIC piping, gearbox starting to slip and what Marty now thinks is the OEM knock sensor but i was still very happy with the results nick got out of a piggy back ECU
To get the car ready for its 1st track outing at the charity track day in May i ordered new DBA disks and got some endless y sport pads [nice road pad IMHO] and a new set of RE050s for the back wheels.
These should all be on next week
then ill have to see how she is at the charity day and get her back over to the pod for a few more runs bt:-)

I’d like to thank Colin and Marty up in SSI [Supra Specialist Ireland]

For all there hard work and help so far, they have looked after the servicing bits i couldn’t do along with providing advice.

You may ask what the future hold for the car, well the 3 key bits are built drag box, a GT35R single, and respray/kit.

the kit

Thats a great looking car, love the front end. I've been looking for a good kit and that front end is definitely top of the picks so far. Gotta say though that I'm not so sure about the spoiler out back. maybe a back photo for clarity? The back skirt looks good from that photo as well

Joe he only has a factory kit. The silver one is what kit he wants to fit onto his soarer in the future.

Either way its a great looking soarer, very neat
