Mr Reliable - V8 with coil susp OR 3l Reliable but sporty - V8 with air susp
What are you smoking? Since when has air bags contributed to "sporty"?
Wallowing isn't exactly a great handling feature.
Not only is the UZZ30 more reliable (less to go wrong) it is lighter and tighter, much better to drive when you are feeling sporty.
The air bags are designed to remove the driver and passengers from the driving experience by isolating them from bumps etc on the road. The ride height adjustment also helps those that have difficulty getting in/out of their car as they can raise or lower it to suit their aged and creaking joints.

perhaps, Peter...but it will never 'effectively' be a V8...so,'there is no substitute for cubic inches'...
oh, im aware of the tremendous power they can achieve...they're all revved up with no-one to blow...BUT...personally, i would take the V8 every day....I had an XA GT coupe(jg-66), and my mate has one of those Hiroshima screamer WRX things...it out handles, out paces, out brakes my old coupe...but it never 'out-classed, or out-cruised' my car... a good sewing machine can rev, but it will never ever purrrrrrrrrr....IMO, of course..

That implies that there is something good about V8's (the engines not the cars). The only distinct thing about a V8 is the sound, and in my personal opinion, an open wastegate + screamer pipe sounds 10x better than a V8...

I agree with Ross. Cant beat Cubes. My uncle's got a 68 Pontiac GTO with a 455 in it, and I absolutely love the note that puts out! Beats any TT in my opinion anyway! Bring on the cubes!
