Anyone of you guys down in Victoria Melbourne know of any tint places or someone that does it, that actually goes darker than the legal limit(35%) as I have 10% all around and need to match it, as I needed to replace one of my windows due to a bad scratch.

Look in the business directory, shouldn't be hard to find. Only problem is that you have to sign a legal document and can be defected for it. Also if you have a prang your insurance may be void. Im getting new tint possibly monday and ive heard there is a special tint that is still legal but darker or more reflective than the normal stuff. It is more expensive though.

lol, my brother in law took those guys (tint professor - I think in Moorabbin) to court.
He took his Audi in to get done, when he picked it up, it had done HEAPS more k's. They had obviously driven it heaps around. Probably flogged the crap out of it as well.
Sends shivers down my spine, I'm always worried when I leave my car with businesses I dont know.
For work we use Instant windscreens in Moorabbin. They are doing a pretty good job so far.

Lol bad story you got there Christian, I have already tried asking Tint Professor to do it and the lady on the phone told me they cant go any darker than the 35% legal limit, plus they do a crap job anyway, took a car to them before and asked them to do a black tint, got the car back had a look and it was like a dark brown colour, looked shocking.

Hey Tom just curious to see some pics of your tint. Also are you worried by voiding insurance as this is what concerns me, not gonna get dicked if something happens to my car just for the tint it has.

Why go so dark?
10% is too dark IMHO
it looks unless you own a limo and with 10% you obviously don't drive much at night, I reckon 20% is pushing it to be honest, still not legal but plenty dark still. But then again darkenss has no real benefit, just because it's dark dosent mean it rejects more heat etc....
Personally I prefer the semi reflective films. Costs a fair bit more but I've had good results..
