Also i just got the Soarer back from Pedders Suspension yesterday, which had done the 4 wheel alignment using the Soarer factory spec & the suspension check too...

But the guy told me that the air-bag Soarers cant do the suspension check as that will just test out the air in the air-bag, so he just checked all the bushes are alright and no leak in the air-bags..

Anyway the handling is very good and i havent experience any tramlining yet..

Dan

I like shadow chrome and of course you cant go wrong with Volks, the soarer has an amazing ability to make big wheels look small though... maybe because you have the hi-rider suspension like i do

I got a -Spec height controller and i lowered the Soarer abit but not too much...

For some reason, when i parked in my driveway, its seems the height is always abit higher then when the Soarer is park in a flat surface..

Anyway for the UZZ31 guys who have a height controller, what height do you guys use when lower the Soarer??

I used the following setting when i lowered my Soarer:

224

My heights are set to B024.

B to get into my driveway.
0 to have a neutral position for smaller bumps.
2 for city driving
4 for highway driving.

I haven't set the last one so it's still on 0.

Daniel, you are quite right not to get the air suspension tested at that Pedders because the bloke there doesn't know coprolite.

Get them tested at a Pedders where you have first distinguished some intelligence in the staff. The air suspension is a spring/damper system (with adjustable ride height and damping) and amenable to the usual test procedures.

...as that will just test out the air in the air-bag

I wonder what he thought that meant?

David,

I'm going take my Soarer to another Pedders to get the Pedders 28 point Steering and Suspension Safety Check, also do i need to turn off the air bag computer, you know the switch in the left side in the boot when i get the Safety check done?

Nope, you're not supposed to drive it like that and the suspension check is just like driving it.

But you should switch it off before it goes up on the hoist.
