Dear god this is to close for comfort.
A really good friend of mine who works at maccas with me on a daily basis has been flat strap doing up his 180SX. We all know the wages we get so there wasn't any power mods just looks. Last night it was stolen from right out of the driveway. This is a big deal for us, the kinda stuff that destroy's dreams and we will do whatever it takes to get it back. For anyone in QLD please keep an eye out, any info helps, we are desperate to get it back.
White 93 model 180sx, dark tint, BN Sport kit, stock wheels - (not lowered so it looks like a 4WD), loud exhaust (no mufflers or cat), FMIC, plate number is 224-HLJ.
I dont have any pics of the car with the kit on because it has just come back from the panel beater only a few days ago.
It was taken from Clayfield area between 1am-6am last night. If anyone sees the car or has any info please contact Craig on 0412645685 or email me at endermt@optusnet.com.au, will pay decent reward for any info that leads to retrieving the car.

It's amazing how many cars get stolen just after they have been in a panel beaters. I'll place a bet that you find the car within a week!! Stripped bare.

Isn't that the story of most young peoples lives. My car was nicked two days after visiting a car dealership in sydney for a test drive of a new car. They had my keys, a good chance to look over the car (did an eval on it for trade in). Two days later, my garage was professional broken into and car was towed away.
Tell ya your mate to go over his steps of the last few weeks very carefully, and visit the places just to check out if its there. This is assuming his got no insurance. If he has insurance, fill the forms in and play the waiting game.
Oh and I never saw my car again, that was about 2.5 years now, hope your mate has better luck.

Nothing pisses me off more than car thieves taking away something that has taken someone a long time to build up and work for but... I just cant feel sorry for anyone that spends their money on a body kit or FMIC when they should be spending it on a good alarm and immobiliser or at least a club lock.

Never heard of a club lock that worked. If you can not afford to have your car nicked then immobilise and insure. It is a cost of ownership, like petrol and rego. Sorry.

This stuff scares the out of me. Im working on a different type of immobiliser for sure, something that cannot be bypassed without knowing specifics.
