Hmmm, WTF?!? Why put a nissan engine in a toyota? Would just be as pointless as the gen 3 in a BAGT, or maybe I should buy a ferrari and dump a lambo engine in it?
On the topic of chicks and cars... One of the girls at work conned me into cooking a dinner party for her and some friends, turns out they're all mad import revheads, and possibly have a better vehicular knowledge than me, I think I'm in love!

Jason, Ive seen vids of yank Supras pulling 700kw on stock internals. Im sure they dont survive long, but they get there.
In fact theres a whole series of vids floating around by some guy with a red Supra that was pushing 900kw. It popped and he rebuilt it with forged internals but he got a bucket load of runs out of it before it died.
From memory there used to be a lot of them on supramovies.com
Richard, mate grate looking car. Unfortunatley that Soarer has a bad ticker.
A 2jz is going to far surpass the RB26 mod for mod. Just look how much power a 1JZ & 2JSZ will handle before changing internals compaired to the RB range. Sorry I have to disagree. The 2JZ-GTE is truly the jap performance grand daddy of them all.
Don't forget that US horsepower figures are higher than figures we achieve down here, so don't get too hyped up if you can't achieve the same figures with same mods.

from the limited info i have i don't think she is the owner/driver. not 100% though.
Fair enough on the all the toojay calls. Like I said before they are a hell of a motor and do have 'some' advantages over and RB26, but having been to japan i can tell you that any demo car you look at and any workshop you go to is just about a shrine to RB26 performance. Just the fact that there are so many more RB26 parts available does give them a slight advantage though.
Good thing I didn't post pics of the Supra I saw at Top Secret!!! at least this RB26 was replacing a 1JZ where as the TS one is replacing a perfectly good toojay...but I love it
I must say I'm surprised so many of you don't like it. I certainly commands some respect from me as it's a very nicely built car and would no doubt be very, very quick. Plus it's something different, those things make it a big winner in my books.
