Wazzup all im thinking of swapin a 1jz vvt-i in my sc300 and wanted to know if anyone can help and tell me the difference between the 1jz vvt-i in soarer and chaser? cause my suplier has one but outta a chaser and so far all i know is swap oil pan,pump and motor mounts
Is the auto trans gonna work? will it wire up? a/c gonna werk? will dash work? power steer? abs? trac? air bag?

I have read of someone doing the opposite to what you want (putting a vvti 1JZ-GTE from a Soarer, into a JZX100 Chaser).
As you mentioned, the motor mounts, and sump/oil pan had to be swaped over, along with the water pump. (Apparently the water pumps are different. Not sure on details there, but hydralic actuation vs ??????).
Apart from that everything else worked fine (Remembering that the Chaser has TRC and ABS but no Cruise Control).
Not first hand knowledge, but I hope the info helps.
