Hey everyone,
The most unbelievable thing happened!!!
On tuesday night I picked up my first ever soarer, and its beautiful by the way. On my way home from picking it up, I stopped to fill it with fuel, and while waiting for the next available fuel pump, a guy in a newish monaro reversed straight into the side of my car!!
The damage isnt huge but I HAD JUST GOT IT!!!
Needless to say, I didn't sleep much that night.

I got quotes for the damage.......like $1200+
I'm so cut.....but I still think my car is absolutely HOT even with the damage lol.
Looking forward to getting it fixed tho.
I just hope the guy pays up in a timely manner |

The Soarer balances it out a bit, so you can choose, either an Ass, or a Hat 
Nah, I was just talking about this guy in particular, not in general, personally I'd say if you own both then you = lucky. |

I'm loving driving a soarer!!
I've given the guy like 5 quotes, now just waiting for him to bloody pick one so I can get my car back into it's Immaculate ways. Did I mention my soarer is red!! SWEEEEEET
I think he has insurance...but he says he wants to settle privately lol, dodgy. |

Not necessarily. If he has a relatively high excess (say $800+) it may not be worth it to him to lose his no claim bonus. Not ideal, but don't think the worst just yet. |

yeah Ive done privatly before. Just make sure that the work is up to your spec. and Unless you are happy with it, he will have to get it re-done.

Well, I very nearly wrote my Soarer off last night.
A guy in a Mitsu Mirage tried to turn right in front of me. Suddenly this pathetic little car right in front and no way of stopping.
I managed to swerve to the right and almost cleared him. Swiped my left side onto his left, and now have a 1" deep 'scratch' from front to rear.
At least I'll get a new paint job on the left hand side.

Driving home from work yesterday I almost rear-ended a car infront of me.
Now to be honest it was my fault, I was looking around at the shops BUT i guess i didn't expect to have someone tootling up the main street at 10kph :S
