Can anybody tell me how to alter the existing presets on the memory seats.

change them to the position you want then hold 'set' and button 1 or 2 at the same time til it beeps then release.
I think the car has to be on ACC and in Park.
It resets everytime the batttery is unplugged.

Sorry to have to correct you David, but the seat memories most definitely CAN be set while the engine is running. Transmission must be in "PARK" at the time though.
