With thanks to Don Bagnall, and his contacts at Tasman Toyota in New Plymouth, the '97 Soarer's now on the road. The new Igniter worked a treat, it started straight away. Tasman also included a sexy hat which was nice of them.
The huge job of cleaning has now started, the workshop got the shipping marks off, but there is a couple of years of ingrained dirt to get off, as well as some tannin from the accompanying cargo on the Norfolk ship. The seats are especially dirty, the previous owner must have driven with the windows down all the time.
