I think this has been discussed before when talking about the effectiveness of the rear wing?
I remember someone mentioning that the undercarrage of the car provides too much wind resistance. Coupled with the wide tyres you would need to keep traction which also create an imbalance and you get a wee bit of rear movement?
Thats what i remember at least. Dont take my word as mandate; i'm very rarely correct.

Ive hit 238KmpH and I stopped before the rev limiter. I think if I had to let it keep going I may have hit 250. It just kept pulling and pulling. I love it! Totally stock engine, just with 17's and my fat ass driving.
I hit 195 in the Celica once, with a broken engine mount. That car just kept going too!
Edit: I also have the speed cut defender max readout to prove it. I can take a pic if you want.

I've hit about 270km/h... only way I know this though was because I was sitting next to a GT-R just before he backed off, and his PowerFC showed 274km/h.
On the back straight of the track of course.

whats wrong with volvo's handling. i wouldnt mind a 850R for starters, handle quite good for a standard car just dont boot it too much around corners unless its the AWD version
