Lost my ride on Sunday night.
Came out of a servo and she jumped out on me down the road in a way she never did before. Never expected it.

And "NO", i was not being a hoon/idiot or any thing else along those lines.

Spun out on me right after the rain started and then stopped.

All i got to say is be careful on the roads guys with the rainy season coming in!

Does'nt feel right with out her around anymore.

Light rain brings oils to the road surface but is insufficient to wash them away. When it starts to rain after a dry spell it can be slipperier than in full rain.

I am not commenting on Michael's crash, in mitigation or otherwise, just reminding people of a risk.

I don't think Tim's interested in selling anymore. Not after all the work that's being currently being put into it David.

But who knows, he may have just done all that to make it more appealing to buyers.

Sorry to hear about that Michael, sux big time. I know up here in tropical Darwin, after the dry season (which lasts for about 6 months) the first rains make the roads AMAZINGLY slippery. More 'splipperier' than anything else. For all you know, there may have been a small spill of some sort. I almost lost the soarer turning left over some sort of slick, the whole rear end just planed into on coming traffic.

But, hey, a Manual soarer! The good in the bad!
