Hey guys, just purchased a v/ clean 1994 Soarer TT auto last weekend. It has a few mods, and i'm just wondering what an average power output would be around?
It has a full 3.5 in exhaust from the catback to two 3.5in mufflers. it also has a k&n air pod (panel type). I dont think it has dump pipes but i'm not sure.. standard boost as well.
any ballpark figures? bhp/kw?
if i were to add dump pipes and wind the boost up to a safe 3psi more, what would be the gains?

cheers mate, haven't got any engine pics, not much to see. Imagine a hacked airbox, catch can, and strut brace. You dont need much to make a lot of power in these cars

I would estimate 165rwkw right now
And 185rwkw with dumps. I think you will find that you boost will increase to 13psi or so with dumps anyway. Don’t know how much boost you are running now.

Do u have a Boost Gauge?
if not your boost should be on 12psi as it is...because mine only has cat back exhaust looks to be 2.5inch exhaust and pod filter and has 12psi just from those mods (no boost controller installed)

Yeah if its on 12psi now the most i would go to is 13.5 to 14psi on Stock turbos (if u get a electronic boost controller than 14psi for sure...but manual/bleed valve boost controllers are known to spike so if u get it to 14psi it could spike and you would hit fuel cut if it did.
P.S 1st thing you should get is a boost gauge aswell so you know how much boost it is on.

I'm going to a pharmacy ball the night before. (un)fortunately its all you can drink which is going to rule me out for the following day! i've only been a member for a short time, but how often do we do cruises/meets? Is there a crew that meets in the city etc?
