| Is the average early ninties TT-Soarer worth in Australia? I ask this out of sheer curiousity. I heard they were worth heaps. I payed $4050 for mine in NZ, cheap deal but still... So what sort of price did you lot pic your Soarers up for?? |

| An expensive oldish Soarer over here with 100-200ks on it would be about 6k you guys would probably save a fair bit importing one from good old NZ |

| I got my '92 for $8,250 reduced from $11,990. 4 years parts and labor warranty with 90,000km on the clock, immaculate engine and interior. Couldn't of asked for a better car haha. I've since done the turbo's too. |

| I sold my stock 91 soarer for 6k a few weeks back. Could have got a little more, but just wasn't interested in it sitting around gathering dust to make another 500-800 bucks. |

| You'll find that Soarer prices in Australia have dropped dramatically compared to what they were going for 2 years ago. |

Hence why I jumped on the bandwagon. My UZZ31 Limited was worth $12,500 a few years ago, I picked it up for $8000. |

| Prices have gone to here too - my '96 JZZ31 was $6995 when I got it 2.5 years ago, which was a steal as I had a valuation done at $14,000, but now I'd be lucky to get $4000-$5000 for it, if I could find a buyer. We were going to sell it and buy a family car but the wife and I have decided we'll just get her a small 4 door and make do, as its just not worth it |

| Great time to buy a Soarer though... I hope the prices are still in a few years so I can pick up a decent '32 for bugger all. |

| Give it another few years and they will become a collectible. Or they will be the main ride in a fast and furious and everyone will want one |

Nope, it was a direct import, so they only wanted to make a resonable profit on it. I'm guessing they picked it up for a few thousand, spent another couple getting it imported, and made $1000-$1500 off me. Most '96 models on yards I looked at were higher K's and at least $4000 more, and generally tattier than this one, so I think it was just a good deal. |

| Very Good deal in Matts case. Back in 2006, Id loved a JZZ31 for 7k with only 5 figure Kms on the clock. Still fast forward to Christmas 2007 I was stoked to finally pick up a 1996 JZZ31 with 132kms for only $4000.... Wow 4k It's still a great deal thinking about it now! Ive only clocked it up to 134k's so far, just done a shade over 2k's since Ive had it for 4 months

Hmmm there is hope. After spending some quality time with my Green UZZ30 after buying for $5500 I ended up selling it for $7000, so they can in the right hands! I was quite chuffed with that deal. Was pretty much same case with my Celsior too. They both remained 95% factory too which I think its quite an important part of resale. |

| Prices really have dropped a lot recently. I paid $16.5k for my 94' TT (black on black, factory manual) in July 06'. I'm guessing, if I sold it today it would probably only get closer to $10k? I Agree with Callum, you would get more for a 'unique' soarer. Just my 2cents |

| In terms of motorbikes, stockos are worth more than modified bikes. That's because it's safe to say a stocko was ridden sensibly, and often it was the owner's daily commuter. On the contrary, bikes with full stainless/titanium exhausts, raised pegs, crash posts etc were weekend weapons, flogged to death the second the bike left the workshop after it's 1000km service. Back to Soarers, you'll probably find the prices will go up again when people start driving them. It all boils down to the uncontrollable variables in depreciation, such as age and popularity. We can affect the condition of the vehicle quite easily, reflected by the presentation of some of the Soarers owned by members of the forums. I have the current value of them to thank for the opportunity to get mine; if the prices stayed where they were several years ago, I'd be stuck in that box Cefiro I was looking at when I stumbled across my UZZ31. Cefiros rock; they're unusual, and have potential to go pretty hard, but the comfort and reliability of the V8 Soarer is nothing to be sniffed at. |

| I paid around $15k for my 94 black on black 3L around the same time James and now I picked up a 96 vvti for less than that. Go figure. Not looking forward to selling the 94 black now. |
