hey guys just a couple questions:
what are the legalities with fitting a gauge in your car? someone said it needs to be equal to or lower than your dash. if this is so, why do i always see them down the dash and up the pillar?
also, someone posted that automatic boost controllers are illegal to use. is this true or a wives tale?

Depending on what state your in (talking from WA experience) any type of aftermarket boost controller is illegal. Over here it aint a big deal, get a defect notice, take it out, go over the pits, get on with life $50 poorer...
Gauges must not obstruct your field of vision and must be secured. A-Pillar gauges are illegal here (if not permitted), and will get you a defect notice if you dont have a permit.
