I've just ordered an EGT, water temp, oil temp, and oil pressure sensors and a colour OLED display unit from PLX devices in the US. I'm after some suggestions as to where I should mount the sender units.
I've only bought the one EGT, so I'm thinking of just sticking that in the manifold after the turbos. It's more for turbo protection than a tuning tool for me. But where do I stick the water and oil temp senders, and what about the oil pressure?
In regards to the display, I'm planning on mounting it inside the instrument cluster and reflecting it off the mirror, as the software supports a 'mirrored' mode for HUD applications. I'm aiming for a stock/stealth look, as I hate gauges stuck all over the dash. I'm going to make some custom gauges for it to match the rest of the dash, I think it will look seriously cool.
Check them out, they are unlike any other gauge out there.

water temp sensor, ither tap a thread into you thermostat housing/ top rad hose housing, Or buy a radiator hose temp port, about $20 from myself
Oil temp / pressure, you need a sandwich block that goes inbetween your oil filter. About $20-70 depending on brand. they have 2 ports so you can run 2 gauges, and they come with block off ports too.
I have them in my car, and there are pics in my other threads, but im at work and dont have time to find the links for you

Thanks Dave,
I had no idea those sandwich things existed. Looks like a great idea. Found one on ebay for around $40. I was thinking something exotic like post turbo oil pressure, but this looks much more practical.
Think I'll just get my mechanic to tap into the thermo housing for the coolant. I'd do it myself but of course the only tap I don't have is 1/8"NPT.
