| OK Here is my little thread ill post up progress photos of my little build up converting my 92' Auto TT into a Manual Beast! Now i start off with my current car (the blue one) making 173.8rw/kw at 12psi at the last Dyno day. Mods so far: Respray in blue apexi RSM HKS EVC 6 old work Miester S2R rims resprayed and polished lip! HSD coilovers KKR front mount kit 1.5 stage shift kit from mv autos DBA 5000 Slotted brakes F&R fidanza exhaust cam gear 94 tail lights TRD HID headlights tanabe hyper medallion dump back exhaust So the next mod is manual R154 conversion and here is the doner! White 93' TT Factory Manual povpak. I figured to do a conversion it would be easier to have every part i need from one spot! And have some spare bits that can always come in handy as well, so why not a whole car?

So stay posted and ill keep this Thread updated!! |

| Rims are work something. 17x8 with +42 (IIRC?) and 17x9 +39 I think? It was something along those lines. |

| Awesome! Looks like you got some good parts on the donor car - 97 lights, Work rims, R154 etc... Is the donor car complied or a race import? I have been thinking of doing the same thing lately, but its hard to find a cheap race only import in manual |

| Andrew as you can see i ended up getting that car i was talking about! Morgan is right with the offset, the rims are "Work Emotion CR Kai" Its a race import but the shell is a bit ratty so i would prefer to put the good stuff in the blue one and maybe use that for a couple of track days. plus its a bit hard to drive the car to the track when its not complianced. ill update tomorrow with pics i have found a couple of cool bits and peices. |

| So with your race import.. Do you have a CAMS licence or something? As i was under the impression that was the only way you could get them. OR did you seek import approval and then just never put in anymore compliance paperwork once it arrived ? It really is not a bad idea to do what you have done... get your bits off it and make your money back by stripping it down. Nice work mate ! Ill watch this thread with interest. Any more pics of your white doner car? |

| yes i have a cams licence, and it was imported as a race import so it cannot be complied at all. I was going to use the car on the track but once i got it the clutch was slipping and the body was a little rough, so while the box it out i might as well chuck it in the other one and have 1 cool car! Ill be taking some more pics this weekend when i set it up on jack stands and get started. |

| Well before you do the swap, make sure you pick up a new rear main seal for the Blue one, wouldn't hurt to do the rear gearbox seal while its out as well. |

| Were you having issues with wheel fitment using the Celsior brakes?....I noticed the blue car is wearing the the wheels from the donor car. I might be interested in the seat belts from the white car when you strip it let me know. |

| yeh the wheels from the donor car have heaps of clearance for the Celsior brakes but the other miss out by only 6mm. the seat belts are all mint even has the 5th middle seat belt and the drivers and passenger have those little arms. |

| ill set the seatbelts as a set for now. Ok finished my distraction which was these Celsior brakes!! I fitted them this morning and painted them gloss black to make them look good without going overboard. interesting fact: Soarer TT Brakes caliper = 6kg rotor = 9kg Celsior 4pot brakes: Caliper = 4kg rotor = 10kg so that is 1kg per side less unsprung mass!! score!! pics! before:

| yeh they are great, the abs kicks in earlier so i think i need better tyres to keep up with the brakes now! I found it was easier to bend back the dust protector than to remove it completely. When i had all the brakes removed i noticed both front wheels bearings were noisy (scratchy) when turned by hand so looks like ill have to put the hubs from the white car onto this one too! Thanks Andrew anyway, i take it your happy with the discs? the pads in the box i gave you are lucus pads they are kinda half race half street pad not an all out racing set. and the pads in the calipers are toyota stockos. |

| Ok I had a half day on the car today! made a bit of progress. i pulled apart everything around the engine so it is ready to be dropped out. also pulled apart all the front suspension components so i can drop the cross member! I also did a compression test and i got 175psi on all 6 cylinders!! score! its a 110,000km engine and has a brand new timing belt/pump so looks like the previous owner looked after it a bit! The turbos also look to be rebuilt or newer than the engine ill confirm once the engines out and i can see the back of them.

| ok more pics even thoe it looks like not to many people are interested. I had fun removing the engine, i did it with two jacks and dropped it strait down then slid it through the front of the car. i had to chop the radiator mount.

| Well i am impressed. Good work . How easy is it now to get that clutch line off. with nothing in the engine bay. The inside of that gearbox looks like a black hole! |
