My girlfriend spotted it when we picked my car up. She's sitting there in the passenger seat, checking out all the whizz-bang bits in this new fangled car of mine then exclaims... "what the fcuk is THAT?"
Got me intrigued so I pulled over to investigate... I flipped it down and immediately understood the use of this interesting little device, and had a giggle to myself... bloody Japs!

When I bought my soarer, the bloke selling it to me made it a major selling point! "2.5 litre twin turbo, runs beautifully, pod filter, BOV, looks brilliant, OH! It's got a mini sun visor for blocking out the sun between the mirror and the roof lining!!"
He loved it!

I noticed ours pretty quickly, and thought what a great idea it was. Most modern cars have a black strip across the top of the windscreen which dips down to the mirror (at least, our Rexton does obviating the need for the separate visor. I notice James' visor has a dirty square just like mine, must be Jap pollution leaking in through the mount
I spent many hours cleaning our interior on car's arrival but after two years I still haven't gotten around to cleaning off the crap on the little sun visor.

I noticed mine not immediately but some time in the first month or so. Our more modern IS300 has the fashionable black spotted pattern found on most cars now but I find the separate visor utterly superior.
