My inspection results as per the e-mail I'm going to send you.
Exterior: Paint in average to good condition. Would require a good wash/cut back & wax. Hand width dent on front drivers side guard with approx 1 foot long light scratch – should buff out. Minor pin dents on driver’s door and below drivers side rear passenger window. Rear left wheel centre cap missing.
Interior: EMV working – No flickering. Touch screen working. Dash/instruments working – No blinky dash. Aircon cold. Heater working. Radio working. The small wire to the left of the radio is the infra red receiver for the remote of the DVD/CD player which isn’t working – he believes possible wiring fault under the back seat. Steering retracting/detracting working. Steering height adjustment not working. Small split approx 1cm on drivers side interior window surround. Sunroof tilt & retract both working. Minor scuffing of leather on driver’s seat. Seats/carpet & mats would need minor cleaning. Tinting on driver’s window peeled away & missing at top section – Approx palm sized section. Can’t be seen when window is closed as it’s covered by the weather shield. Traction control switch works – Spins tyres very easily from stand still with traction control switch off.
Engine: Clean. Very smooth. Very responsive. Much more powerful than my 91. Slight film of oil on engine sump. No drips or runs of oil visible.
Transmission: Very smooth changes. No shudders. Great shifting points. My 91 seems to shift to early for my liking, but this one shifter how I would like mine to. Will need fluid flush soon as fluid is dark in colour & smells burnt.
Brakes: Grab well. No shuddering or vibrations in steering when brake applied. Minor scraping noise when brakes aren’t touched.
Suspension/Steering: Great working order. Goes over speed humps with no clunks. Sticks to the road. Very smooth ride. No tram-lining. Steering is very direct & tight. Steering rack & lower control arm bushes feel very good. Slight wobble noise at the rear end. Sounds like possible rear left strut, however the owner thinks it’s due to the spare tyre being loose/not secured. Suspension height controls working. Height pump working. Car raises/lowers as it should. All suspension control switches working.
Tyres: Approx 30-55% tread left all around. Will need 4 x new tyres very soon.
Overall, if I had the money. I WOULD buy this car. You will not find a better V8 Soarer at this price. My main immediate points of concern would be the replacement of 4 tyres. Getting the steering height adjustment working, and just the exterior wash, cut back & wax.

Hi John,Thank you very much for the fantastic report.you put a lot of time and effort into it.as Chris said you should be doing it as a profesional. I also agree with Traff,Just another example of the fantastic people that you meet in this club. Its a pitty that the owner of this car does not share our pashion. Anyway thanks so much john.
