This Perth company sells a 4 channel temperature display (including 2 channels rated up to 1000C so suitable for EGT) which fits in a 1 DIN stereo socket.
They also make gauge pods and it seems they are looking for a Soarer owner in Perth for pod fitment research.
Found it in my search for ways to display various parameters (at the moment ambient temp and EGT, the former for Soarer the latter for Rexton).
The site might be of interest to TT owners, in particular also as they have intercooler spray controllers.
