To generalise a whole lot of stuff, this car was part of the reason why soarer central and alsc split. It is also the 3rd last active ever made and the guy selling it is dodge apparently
This car is one of the last 12 updated V8. The price is high for current times. Rob Hayden has seen this car and if any one is interested please contact him, as he seen the car and know all about the Soarer Active. The seller had this car listed at $50,000 when it first cam into the country.

Later came all the RH spin and "mis-speak" (TM Hillary Clinton) about the dealer being dodgy - which was refuted by members who had actually bought from the dealer.

More like 229000km looking at the state of the engine bay... In My Honest Opinion buying from dealers is just stupid unless the car is brand new, they are just so good at lying face to face.

If anyone wants that 32 on carsales, one word of advice... Get that car checked.. I bought my TT from them and after having an accident at Easter, I found that the reinforcement bar that is behind the front bar was missing and consequently a 20km/h hit looked like a 60km/h hit. I've also had a few other problems and Frank is owner, and he likes you until you buy the car and once that happens, he doesn't want anything to do with you. But that's my story and that may not have happened with other buyers

The car dealer is out there to make money i guess guys, he did'nt force anyone to buy the car, it was totally up to them, if they like it they buy it. If you have a good look at the car and find something missing or not right then don't buy it. If you like the car and its 100% to you then buy it, gotta remember its a second hand car, a couple of years old it wont be perfect, any car dealer no matter where you go is not going to be negative against a car there trying to sell lol. but anyway that's just my opinion, not sure if its worth posting up, just think about it

clearly its always a case of caveat emptor when dealing with used car dealers. However think on this...the fact that car dealers lie and misrepresent as well as sell vehicles that are often unsafe (almost any mechanical fault can lead to a compromise in safety) is accepted generally by australian (and western?) society...however if you care to look at the trade practices act and various acts and regulations dealing with motor vehicle dealers you will find that this fact is not upheld in law. Therefore when negotiating the price of a car i would suggest you take them to task with any and every part of the car that is faulty or substandard.

I guess its probably part of the roadworthy certificate and most of the time when buying a second hand car from a dealer he probably offers a warranty just incase something goes wrong with the car and offcoarse also to help sell the car. Sometimes the car dealer himself also has hardly any mechanical knowledge about the car they are trying to sell lol.
People buying there cars from Australia are lucky, as you can go and have a look before you part with your money. Just think about buying a car from Japan and paying for it and waiting about 4 to 6 weeks before you can have a look at it. All the reports and photo's can help but to look at in person is so nice. As the photo's can show most things but to site the car in person is so different!

You a dead right Colin,its hard for the dealer importers, take the case of the intrusion bar not fitted in the door of the Soarer ,you cannot expect dealers to strip off door casings just to check.

Well said Dave and Colin. Some average looking person could come in and look at the UZZ32 and know something bad about the car but the dealer himself aint allways gonna know??? He is just trying to sell the car lol, just like every other car dealer out there, all I know is I have owned 2 great cars from the same one car dealer/importer and they have been absolutely great cars for me, never had the car break down on me.

Well they at least can be repaired unlike air bags and there is a guy at Wangara that rebuilds the pump. Some one on SC also does exchange REBUILT suspension legs ?? So Adam go for a BLACK 32....
