Yeah, I think there's a few Tassie members on here (myself included) Probably mostly Hobart based though, but still, I'd be happy to meet half way if something was organised

would be great, i just picked my soarer up a few weeks ago, fully optioned 92 factory manual TT2.5 with 66,000 on the clock, love the thing. If we could get enough interest id be up for it. Ive seen a few soarers in launnie, but unfortunately, the owner is never around the dam car. this is mine, next few weeks il be getting some 18s for it to fill the wheel arches up a bit

Looks great. Yours has leather electric seats too? I seem to remember reading around here that TT's didn't even have these as an option, and yet yours and mine both have them...

Beautiful ride, i'm a new owner in Launnie too, i'm only aware of 3 other Soarers besides ours and they're all green like mine so you will stand out! After my suspension's fixed in a fortnight i'm happy for a cruise, say Campbelltown so we can meet the Southerners?

sounds great mate. Ive seen a white soarer on invermay road it had the ebay altezza lights on it, only got a quick glance, as i was driving back to work from lunch haha. That one was for sale to. Mine originally came with the suede seats, but the owner re upholstered them in the leather when he bought it 7 years ago. But like you im pretty sure they were not a factory thing, maybe someone put V8 seats in yours? Either way the leather is miles ahead of the suede, so comfortable and easy to clean

How's your car going Scott? I've seen a few more Soarers on in Launnie the past month, a very well taken care of white one with chromies and a green v8 with 94+ tail lights. Touch wood my car should finally be back on the road in a week or so, still keen if a cruise if anything happens. I'll post a photo when I get around to washing it lol.

The white one would be Phil's old one, sold it to a guy in Launnie late last year, 19" chromes, immaculate inside and out, buggered if I know why you would ever sell a car like that

pretty good mate, i think 48 cars showed. Ranging from ST205 Group A Celicas To a weapon of a corona with a 1GGTE single converted Many many KE70s, 30s 55s LOL Few JZA70s, JZA80s 1 of which was a very very tidy TT single converted manual soarer which went quite nice, had a ride in it And my manual soarer. Good day, but weather, being cold and windy as hell, we all departed quite quickly, which was a shame, would of liked to get to know the faces behind the toyos better
