Well I headed out to WSID today, and F__K me, should I see no less than SIX soarers all racing, and NONE of them hanging around by any means. It was sad to see Jeff Smith's car getting towed due to clutch issues. I took some photos so thought I'd share....... ANd well done rob!

Yeah was a cheap way to have fun but turned on me... hahahaha
I think my clutch plate is stuck on..
I can't get it into gear wile the engine is running,The clutch has no grab or release point...
There is fluid in the master cylinder and when you press in the clutch the clutch fork is working fine and the clutch is pressing in and out fine...
There is no leak..
I turn the car of and I can select every gear and reverse.. Start it in gear with clutch in and it takes of... So I'm guessing it's either stuck on or somehow sh1t itself and mangled inside..
Turned a $50 fun day into a $50+$270(for tow)+ what ever the cost of pulling the clutch out and seeing what damage there is..
I was just getting the hang of my launch in the manual.. Dam.. The run before it was a 13.6 at 111mph but was finding it hard to find 3rd gear... |

hey jeff try bleeding the clutch you may have got some air in there and the slave isnt pushing far enough to properly disengage fully...
no good though you know you have to be ready for the 26th  hahaha
ill have to have a go when i get mine tuned to see what it will run... im guessing 12's cause still no lsd  |

haha yeah prob i done 12.7 12.8 consistantly with a gtech with auto.. ive noticed you do lose alot of time through shifts but its a better car to drive i love it... |

Hahaha yeah i did! I was told I can't drive... hahahaha I rode the clutch too much on the strip and welded the clutch plate to the fly wheel... lol.. New clutch and i think im lucky with the fly wheel... |
