Its all personal taste I guess - when I was younger I would have probably liked the TT for the easy upgrades to stupid amounts of power - now I'm older I prefer the smoothness of the V8.

I know a Soarer / Lexus are great as we all have the same body just the difference between them makes the V8 or TT owner happy. Just wish the V8's had a chance of getting the VVT-i & 5speed auto before Toyota stopped them in Japan.

Here we go again I nearly bought a TT.. but i couldnt go past the air suspension, leather, touch screen, electric everything in the V8.. personal opinion, i sacrificed those miniscule seconds for all those bells and whistles, geat sir susp, and the lovely purr you get from the V8. luv it. both are fantastic cars. just depends wether you want to have all that luxury and go fast, or just GO FASTER!

If I could, I would have a Manual UZZ32 with a TT motor in it, but you are destroying a perfectly good UZZ32 then... Maybe if i win Powerball....

Hmm, I'd argue that Soarers are a "modern classic" not a "future classic" - but, pedantics, whatever. Guess that makes me Mr Reliable - I think my fiancee would probably agree with that.

TT = young person's car. V8 = Car of choice for 'pensioners weekly'. hahaha that should stir some people up...

TT = an older persons mid life crisis car. V8 = an older persons mid life crisis car, that also has a wife that has no sense of humour!!

i think i would have to say the all out best soarer combo would have to be a UZZ32 with a 6 speed manual and a massive single turboed 2JZ. who says you cant have the best of both worlds
