Cool car, cool lights. Welcome to the club Dean. Could you do us all a real BIG favour and not use TXT type english? We don't like it very much here. It's interesting that yours is a TT, but has Lexus SC400 badges ( V8 ) on it, the previous owner was one confused person!

It is pure snobbery, Reepa, which is why he loves to stroke it whenever he can.

It's funny cause the badges on my boot alone make my car more modified than yours... |

Well then someone call me a snob to my face, and see how many teeth are missing when they walk away. I'm going to ban the next person to bring up the lexus/toyota again. We'll put an end to it one way or another! It annoys me beyond comprehension.

Nice buy, Dean - saw those taillights on EBay recently, out of my leaugue, and anyway just bought new '97 one. It certainly sets your car apats from the rest.

I'm with Reepa on this one. Stephen:We ALL know your thoughts on the Lexus/Toyota thing, it was humourous in the begining, but it's getting VERY boring AND annoying for a LOT of people, so my advice is to: GIVE IT A F U C K I N REST! . And this goes for ANYONE ELSE who thinks they're being clever dicks (accent on the DICKS!)

its funny, that i drive around, and i get SOOO many people asking questions about those lights, i had no idea how many people would like them, the main reason why i bought them is that it sets my car appart from 80%of the other soarers on the road... one quick question off the topic, does anyone know were i can get a complete manual conversion kit for my 94' TT??

Hahahahahahahaha. My name on MSN is currently "---• мöяﻯΛŋ ™ •--- "Reepa is a Lexus poser... hehehehehe" says:" We had a good laugh, but I'm not gonna push it on here hehe, but I don't dare push him on his, as I value my teeth firmly in my jaw. I don't give a stuff about badges anyways, I don't have to say anything, you've proven that people know how I feel hehehehehehe. Dean: Where abouts are you from in Melbourne? Would you be interested in an ALSC calder park drag night we've got coming up? Cheers. |

Alright ladies and gentleman it sure seems you like to get fired up over this. The day that Lexus start selling SC300, SC400 or SC430 in Australia is the day I will understand why someone would go to a shop to buy a badge and replace the ones on their car with something that as we have all discussed before it isnt. The way the majority of you seem to get so upset about this is very interesting but its not getting anyone anywhere, im happy to stop posting about my non understanding of this subject. David I fail to see how me leaving the original badges on my car makes me a snob, but once again thanks for your valude opinion. Congrats Brockas on having such a modified car

Stephen, it's just that while you never tire of getting on your soapbox about it, we tire of reading the same old, same old, over and over again. I don't have any brand badges on my car, but if I did, it's not for you to judge me (or anyone else) based on whether I use US or JDM style badges. Likewise, why take off perfectly good wheels and replace them with something that isn't JDM original? Don't answer please. Just so you understand, it's the constant small minded harping on the same point that peeves people, not so much the point itself. Lexus do in fact sell SC-430 in Australia, so you should have just gained some magical understanding.

Stephen, I could not give a rat's arse what you leave on your car, never have, and find it fleetingly interesting that you so comprehensively miss the point or else choose to be misleading. It is snobbery to denigrate others for their differences in style.
