I live in Brisbane north side, Im looking for a full exhaust. I went to Ultimate performance exhaust (anyone heard of them) over at Brendale. They quoted me 1800,full 3inch high flow cat and extracters. This is with 2 days worth of work. is this a reasonable price or can anyone recomend a good place?

I think $1800 is too much, I've only got one quote before and it was like $1200 for what you are talking about. With that sort of difference you could buy a set of dumps too hehe.

crap from the engine? exhaust? goes into your turbos, and then either through into your intercooler and to your plenum, or out through the turbo into the dumps.
im not too sure on prices in QLD sorry... i got quoted for dump pipe back (frontpipe, cat, piping and muff) for $1500 mandrel bent stainless steel, or $1150 mild steel.

well my exhaust guy quoted me $965 turbo back 3"inch for my TT.
he does a decent job not cheap but not expensive, also more then happy to have a chat with you and explain how everything works and what will work the best for your car.

Hi Aka,
I personally can't say because I was lucky enough to buy the car with a very large 3" single which was LOUD and very free flowing.
I decided I liked the look of the twins (as my bodykit had a whole for the other one on the other side) and did that.
As others can attest though, this gives you quite a performance increase, allows your turbos to spool up faster (less back pressure). Not sure about fuel consumption, I guess it would be a little better.
But its by far the best upgrade you can do first up...bang for buck aside, its also good before bigger mods, allows them to work better!

I am picking up 2 oval twin tip exhausts like rival performance have plus 3inch hi-flow cat all stainless steal by X-Force this weekend for just $515. CHEERING
