need the bootlid gas stays and the speedo sender off the gear box (auto/manual/6/8) they all should be the same.

Buy new gas stays and save yourself a heap of headaches (BNT should stock replacements if the price at Toyota puts you off) And which speed sensor are you after??

hi. i need the speedo sender. it's the one that is held in by 2 screws at the end of the speedo gear (12mm bolt) . it has 3 wires going to it.also need the radiator top bottle (where the radiator cap goes).

Trevor I see someone wrecking 1991 V8 Soarer in trade and exchange this week, but he may want to quit whole car. Appears to have been in prang and wanted I think $1800 for it. Anyway if you interested have a look under parts section in Trade and Exchange. Cheers Rod.

I've got a spare top tank, but as Hanré said you'd be better off going new....(plus I'm a parts hoarder from way back)

Will have a check on the gearbox sensor when I get a chance.

hi darryn; that would be great if you could check for the speed sender. even if i could borrow it, as i'm not 100% that it is the problem. (98% though). doing this car on a budget, so have to go s/h. how much do you want for the top tank (square box, with rad cap and 2 outlets).you can get me at bophorie@xtra.co.nz thanks trevor
